Turin (Italian: Torino) is a major industrial city as well as a business and cultural centre in northern Italy, capital of the Piedmont region, located mainly on the west bank of the Po River. The metropolitan area of Turin has a population of 2.2 million. It has been nick-named Fiats Ville Cool

Etymology

The Italian name for Torino, translates as "little bull"; hence the coat of arms and the symbol of the city.

If you choose cities like Rome, Florence or Venice to study Italian you'll quickly find that the locals prefer to speak to foerign visitors in English. This can be very frustrating for students who are not beginners.

On the other hand Turin is the Ideal place to learn Italian. The locals are not so confident in English which makes it a lot easier for the student to pratice the language skills learnt during the morning lessons with their simpatico teachers.

The teaching staff at Hiway are professionally qualified, mother tongue speakers, who teach with enthusiasm and passion using teaching aids to maximise your learning experience.

The Hiway Language Center has developed courses based on establishing conversations between teacher and pupil. Students are encouraged to listen and learn naturally with the sounds of the language. Our primary approach is to stimulate language learning based on daily interactive practice, and we work on the strengthening of grammatical concepts gradually.
